Watkinsville College Ministry exists as the college ministry of WFBC and we seek to serve students at UGA, Gainesville State and Athens Tech. Our vision is to see students love God and love people by living gospel centered lives of service to the world. We do this by focusing our ministry around four values:

Word Centered: Everything we do as a ministry is built on God’s Word (the Bible) and the Word made flesh (Jesus).

Loving Community: We believe that God transforms our lives as we live in community with others, who hold us accountable to God’s word and pray for us regularly.

Serving Others: One of the ways we model the life of Jesus is through serving others. We encourage you to do that by serving in one of WFBC’s ministries.

Living Sent: We believe that God calls all of us to live as missionaries in our particular context. We want to help you develop a plan to live on mission not just as a student but for the rest of your life.

Our large group gathering takes place on Sunday mornings. College Bible Study takes place at 9:30am and we worship with the rest of the church at 11:00am. We also have multiple options for small groups that meet during the week. We hope that you will come check us out...but most of all our hope is that you will plug into a local church that teaches God’s Word and challenges you to live a life of service to Jesus and the world.
